1st Kids Academy
1st Kids Academy welcomes you and your child to our program. We look forward to working with you to discover and develop the potential of your child. Our curriculum has been specifically designed to stimulate your child's developing senses with age-appropriate activities. We believe that how and what children are taught should be based on the truth of Scripture.
While at 1st Kids Academy, babies and toddlers will receive hugs, smiles, developmental nurturing and lots of love. Every child two years and older will participate in activities designed to develop creative thinking, memory, decision-making, problem solving, and comprehension. They will have the opportunity to attend chapel, music, and creative movement. While attending 1st Kids Academy, your child will be preparing spiritually, socially, and academically for Kindergarten through the use of Christ-centered teaching.
Program Information:
You may register your birth through pre-k child for two days a week on Tuesday/Thursday.
Hours: 9:00 am-2:30 pm
Registration: Registration for the 2008-2009 school year begins on March 25, 2008 for current students and will be open to new students beginning on April 8.
Fees: A $100 non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration. Pre-Kindergarten classes require an additional $25 fee for the curriculum book.
Tuition:First child - $175
Each additional child - $170
Tuition is due the first Thursday of each month.
A 10% penalty will be added to late payments. (See parent handbook for details.)
Other important information:
Inclement Weather: If HEB schools are closed or delay opening due to bad weather, our program will not be open. Make-up days will be announced.
Classes: Enrollment is limited in each class so that the pupil/teacher ratio is beneficial to the children.
Lunch: Bring a lunch and drink for your child. Bring formula, juice, water, baby food, or finger foods for your infant or toddler. Snacks are provided for children over two. Please alert the teacher to any allergies your child may have.
Clothing: Please bring a change of clothes for all preschoolers, making sure all items are labeled with their names. Bring only disposable diapers for your baby.
Picking Up: ONLY PARENTS will be permitted to pick up their child unless you have previously notified the director and/or teachers. (There is a $2.50 penalty for each 5 minutes late picking up your child.)
Sickness: We cannot accept your child if he/she has had a fever within the last 24 hours, has diarrhea, contagious rash, vomiting, or heavy nasal bronchial congestion. We cannot give any medications. We will call you or someone at your emergency number is your child becomes ill during the day.
