Dear First Euless,
Every Mother's Day, we have an opportunity to send a very loud, very clear message to our moms. It's not a day of excluding anyone-everyone has a mom! Whether your childhood was perfect or not (mine certainly wasn't perfect, but pretty great) you owe your life to your mom. After all that she did for you, this is an occasion to say, "Thanks for being what no one else can be for me-a mother." I hope you take the opportunity to say this with great enthusiasm, and we'll have some pretty great words to say to all mothers this Sunday in our services. Happy Mother's Day.
Next Sunday May 20, we'll have an amazing service honoring our graduating Seniors. What an important and critical crossroads these seniors are at! I hope you'll be on hand to commission them to be "change-makers" in their new chapter of life, and that you'll pray with me that Christ will take hold of them for a divine purpose (and that they will cooperate fully)!
