Wednesdays Activities

On Wednesday nights during the school year, we have several opportunities for children to Grow in their faith and to Worship God. We offer three great choices for families. Children choose one of the following to participate in during the school year.

KidVenture is a new ministry for kids in 1st to 6th grade and is a partnership between the home and the church for the purpose of helping kids on their adventure of becoming like Christ. In KidVenture, children learn the disciplines of a daily quiet time and memorizing scripture as well as get trained to serve the Lord through a ministry team.

KidVenture's Disciple Groups are where kids gain a strong understanding of the scriptures as they practice the spiritual disciplines of a daily quiet time and weekly verse memorization. Each week they will meet with their disciple group leader for accountability and encouragement as they review what God has done in their lives the previous week and learn the Bible lesson.

KidVenture's Ministry Teams are where kids are trained and equipped to live out their faith by using their spiritual gifts in ministry. Ministry Teams may include Music, Art, Media, Drama and Service. Several times during the year, kids will be able to serve with their ministry team on Sunday mornings in the church as well as during special events in the community.

KidVenture's Ministry Teams are where kids are trained and equipped to live out their faith by using their spiritual gifts in ministry. Ministry Teams include: Storytelling, Art, Service, Media (grades 4-6 only) and Worship. Each month kids will be able to serve with their ministry team on Sunday mornings in the church as well as during monthly community outreach opportunities.

In Bible Drill, children Grow in their faith. Bible Drill helps children explore God’s Word by memorizing books of the Bible, verses, and references to selected key passages. Bible Drill emphasizes honesty and treating God’s Word with respect. There are Bible Drills held at the church, association, and state level in the months of March and April.
Children’s Bible Drill: Grades 4 to 6, Wednesdays, 6:30pm to 8pm.
Bible Buddies: Grades 1 to 3
Youth Bible Drill: Grades 7 to 12, Wednesday, 5:45pm to 6:15pm
