Kids Connection:
First Euless loves kids! Our vision is to empower and partner with families and volunteers to create dynamic, fun and engaging environments where children and families can Believe in Jesus, Belong to His family and Begin their true spiritual journey to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Kids Connection is where kids (Grades 1 to 6) experience an engaging large group gathering for worship and teaching, alongside a more personal small group time with adult leaders.
Kids Connection for Grades 1 to 5:
We have three special environments for these children to learn and develop relationships.
1. PLUG IN: This small group time is designed to introduce children to the weekly topic in a setting that gives them individualized attention from their Small Group Leader and plenty of interaction with a small group of peers.
2. POWER UP: This is designed to engage children in worship within a large group setting. Music, prayer, and an innovative approach to the Bible story are always a part of this interactive time.
3. CATCH ON: This small group time is designed to help kids understand how the day's topic applies to them. They will discuss real-life experiences, interact with a close-knit group of peers, and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles.
Grades 1 to 3: Kids Connection at 10:45 am
Grades 4 to 5: Kids Connection at 9:15 am
Kids Connection for Grade 6:
We realize that sixth grade is a critical time in the lives of those kids and their families. Sixth Graders meet for Connection in the Filling Station (Third Floor – North). The Filling Station includes a Large Group where music and video introduce real life topics and a Small Group time with discussion and exploration of how the truths of the Bible apply to the daily life of a sixth grader. Sixth Grade Connection is designed to support kids and families through this most important transitional time both spiritually and personally.
