Why should I enroll in the LDC?

For exposure to key thought leaders in the areas of mentoring, money matters, marriage and family, and personal development.

To accentuate your education and training.

To develop for life and ministry within the context of a dynamic local church and earn seminary credit at the same time.


 

What are some additional benefits?

Students completing the LDC process receive a certificate, letter of recommendation, and are eligible for licensure and ordination.

Students are connected to state conventions and other entities for future ministry opportunities.


 

What is the format of my LDC experience?

Fall 2011:
Mentoring 101 (Begins Sunday – 8/28)
Experience the personal value of mentoring relationships for current and future ministry contexts. Mentors for individuals and couples are available.

Money Matters (Begins Sunday – 10/9)
Get equipped to relate with money as you develop a balanced financial plan. Individual and family financial planning is available.

Spring 2012:
Family Matters (Begins Sunday – 1/22)
Acquire skills to develop and maintain a Christ-centered marriage and family.

Leadership Basics (Begins Sunday – 3/4):
Grow in your personal and professional skills. Develop disciplines for spiritual and career growth.
