Miracle Giving Percentages for 2010

From our Missions Committee...

On behalf of the Missions Committee, I would like to tell you how excited we are about work the Lord is doing through our church. We look expectantly towards 2010 and the good work that will continue to be done through our giving to the Miracle.

We have established a 2010 goal of $775,000 for our work with local, national and international “Miracle Partners”.

The local portion of our goal is $350,000 to support and grow the 6 Stones Mission Network ($300,000) and the Mid-Cities Pregnancy Center ($50,000).

Nationally, we are planning on $110,000 primarily for Kid’s Beach Club ($100,000) as they seek to expand this ministry and also to finalize a 3 year commitment to two church plants – one in the Austin area and one in Phoenix ($5,000 each).

Internationally, the goal is $265,000. Obviously, the focus here is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. To that end, we want to mobilize our people and give them the opportunity to go on a mission trip by providing scholarships to fund half the cost of a trip ($115,000). We believe we are able to do mission trips in the most effective and efficient manner through the strategic partnerships we have developed with e3 ($30,000) and NEXT Worldwide ($30,000). We partnered with e3 for adult trips that last year went to Tanzania and Venezuela. Student trips were done with NEXT Worldwide and included trips to Mexico and Romania. As we have spent time in these countries with our fellow believers, it is our desire to partner with them on a more continual and concrete basis, in addition to the week or two we spend helping them plant churches, so we are planning on seeking opportunities to do this ($90,000).

Additionally, we have set aside $50,000 of the total for unspecified opportunities that God may put before us in 2010.
