Other Activities:
We love kids at First Euless. Our vision is to Empower and Partner with Families and Volunteers and Create dynamic, fun and engaging environments where children and families can Believe in Jesus, Belong to His family and Begin their true spiritual journey to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
During the year, we have several programs for kids that meet during the week, as well as special events.
On-going Programs:
Kids Beach Clubs:
KiDs Beach Club (KBC) is an organization that partners with First Euless to establish after-school Bible clubs in public schools called “Beach Clubs”. KBC is a ministry dedicated to helping churches present the gospel to elementary-aged kids by going to where they are – school. Beach Clubs are cool, fun clubs for children in 3rd-6th grade that meet once per week and are focused on leading children to Christ and integrating them and their families into the local church. Kids learn Bible lessons, memorize Scripture, sing worship songs, play games, eat snacks and receive prizes.
First Euless currently has Beach Clubs in the following elementary schools: Bedford Heights, Bellaire, Lakewood, Meadow Creek, Midway Park, Oakwood Terrace, Stonegate and Wilshire.

Christian Martial Arts
Christian Martial Arts has been ministering to the physical as well as spiritual needs of local families for almost ten years at First Euless. It is a fun way to get exercise in an environment that seeks to honor God and teach respect for others. The tenants of CMA are Courtesy, Humility, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable spirit. Students learn fundamentals of self-defense, balance, flexibility, practice, and repetition.

Special Events:
Vacation Bible School: June
VBS is a week full of fun and surprises for kids who have finished Grades K to 5. Each summer we have a new theme as we help children believe in Jesus. Visit VBS 2008: Power Week’s homepage here.
Trunkfest: October 31
Trunkfest is a community-wide celebration with loads of candy and fun for children of all ages. We’ll have dozens of cars decorated and filled with candy so kids get to dress in costume and trunk-n-treat from car to car. In 2008, Trunkfest will also feature a special appearance by Team Impact.
Jump Start: Quarterly
Are your kids asking questions about Baptism? Bring them with you to JumpStart! JumpStart is a unique presentation that parents and kids (Grades K to 6) attend together to learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. Our Children’s Minister, Chris Norman, leads JumpStart and gives parents tools to go home and have a spiritual conversation with their kids. JumpStart is a one time class that meets periodically throughout the year.
Campouts: Spring/Fall
Each spring, we have a Daddy/Daughter Campout and in the fall it’s time for the Father/Son Campout. We head to Mt. Lebanon to eat hot dogs, make s’mores and head outdoors. The campouts are a great way for each family to have time to fellowship together.
Kids-a-palooza: May 2009
Kids-a-palooza in 2008 featured a musical by our Kids Choirs and an evening of fun in the foyer with inflatables and door prizes. Keep an eye out for more details about Kids-a-palooza ’09.
