We live in a sex-charged world. From advertising to gentlemen's clubs to internet chat rooms that elicit online sexual connections, we are continually blasted by a tsunami of sexuality. It has resulted in a warped perspective of sexuality.
George Barna reports that 73% of people under the age of 38 view a sexual relationship outside of marriage to be "morally acceptable." Over 50% of the same group declared pornography to be acceptable behavior as well. This is anything but pure sex.
In today's world of casual sex, extra-marital affairs and pornography, what does the Word have to say? Plenty! In fact, the Bible teaches that God created sexuality and made us to be people who have sexual desires. God created an environment called marriage in wich our sexuality could be expressed in a pure way.
What is Pure Sex? It is God's plan and God's timing for our sexuality. We need to hear about it. Pure Sex is a message series based on Paul's instruction to a brand new group of believers who wanted to follow Christ in a sexually deviant world similar to the one we live in today.
Pure Sex is based word by word and verse by verse on 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8 which contains some of the greatsest, most relevant teaching you can ever hear about the subject of sexuality. This series begins on March 30.
