Serve U
God is glorified by our good works. Serve U is a ministry designed to give you an opportunity to glorify God and serve the needs of those in our church. These events typically take place once a quarter and are different in purpose and focus. For example, one Serve U may be for the Single Moms in our church and the next for the Senior Adults in our church. Either way, all Serve U events are a great way for you to exercise God’s call to use your talents and abilities and serve HIM!
“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father, who is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16
“…we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.” – Ephesians 4:15-16
The church is the body of Christ, and the body can grow and function to its full capacity when all parts are working together. When one part is suffering, the whole body suffers. Therefore, it is the job of the whole body to make sure that no part suffers or struggles. This is the purpose of Serve U.
Below are the dates and brief descriptions of the next scheduled Serve U events. You can register your participation by clicking on the date and filling out a short form. Once that form is complete, a representative from the Serve Ministry will contact you with details about that event.
