Sunday Activities
First Euless loves kids! Our vision is to empower and partner with families and volunteers to create dynamic, fun and engaging environments where children and families can Believe in Jesus, Belong to His family and Begin their true spiritual journey to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
On Sunday mornings, we focus on helping children Worship and Connect. Our foundation comes from Luke 2:52.
Spiritual Foundation:
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52
We want every child to leave their elementary years and be able to say:
1. Wisdom: I need to make the wise choice.
2. Faith: I can trust God no matter what.
3. Friendship: I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Monthly Virtues and Verses:
Each month, our children focus on one virtue in both Kids Worship and Connection classes. By covering one virtue a month for three years, by the time children leave Grade 5, they will have covered all 36 virtues twice, as well as over 150 Scripture stories. Kids learn the Bible-based virtues each week in both Kids Worship and Connection.
Kids Worship:
Kids Worship is a fast, noisy, zany, multi-media, kid-focused, parent-centered, virtue-driven extravaganza with two mismatched hosts, several wacky actors, cool tunes, captivating video, and compelling storytellers to say something profound for the entire family to take home. Kids Connection:
Kids Connection is where our children are placed into small groups and learn how to study the Bible, worship through singing, and build quality friendships with other kids and adult leaders. Find out more about Kids Connection here.
Renovations:
Over the next few months, you’ll notice a complete renovation of both our Kids Worship and Connection areas. Go to our Children’s Renovation Page for an update on the progress.
Sunday Schedule:
9:15 am
- Grades 1 to 3: Kids Worship
- Grades 4 to 6: Connection Class
10:45 am
- Grades 1 to 3: Connection Class
- Grades 4 to 5: Kids Worship
- Grade 6: Adult Worship or Kids Worship
Check In Procedures
Grades 1 to 5:
Parents check in their children at the Registration Area in the main hallway of the Second Floor. The child and parent will be given wristbands to wear with matching numbers. This helps ensure the safety of every child that enters our doors. You must have the matching wristband in order to pick up your child.
Grade 6:
Sixth Graders have the privilege of checking themselves into their The Filling Station (Third Floor – North) at 9:15am. After Connection, they are released to either Kids Worship or the Adult Worship Service. Parents are not required to drop them off or pick them up. Please discuss with your sixth grader where you will meet following Connection or Kids Worship.
